About
Pull Push Products.
Pull Push Products. is a Kyoto-based product label established in 2002. Working with the nature of materials, the process of forming, and the surfaces that continue to change over time, the label creates everyday tools and objects.
From design and production to finishing, packing, and shipping, every step is carried out by hand within a small independent craft studio. The collections explore materials and techniques such as mortar, polyethylene film, and diazo paper.
Nobuhiro Sato
Craftsman / Founder
Nobuhiro Sato was born in Kanagawa, Japan, in 1977. He founded Pull Push Products. in 2002 and has continued to make products through his own hands, working directly with materials and process.
Through repeated prototyping and experimentation, his practice looks not only at things themselves, but also at memory, narrative, everyday scenery, and traces of presence, exploring the relationship between people and objects.
He also runs TEKITNA, the shop and gallery attached to his studio, and presents works through the projects 1212 / HITOTSUHITOTSU, both rooted in thinking and making.
