Concept _
Pull Push Products.（プルプッシュプロダクツ）は2002年よりスタートしたクラフトブランドです。
京都鳴滝のスタジオを拠点に、デザイン、製品製作、梱包から発送までを、一貫して自身の手で行っています。
素材の性質や構造、時間との関係を観察しながら、
日常の中に新たな視点や感覚をもたらすプロダクトを制作しています。
同じ素材に向き合いながらも、その硬さの奥にある温度や記憶を見つめ、
小さな建築的スケールの中で、手の感覚を通してかたちを探るように、
線や面、陰影の構成を通して、都市の風景や人の営みの痕跡を静かにかたちにしています。
お香の煙が立ちのぼる小さな建物のような香炉や、風や雨によって少しずつ表情を変えていくプランターなど、
時間とともに素材が語りはじめる瞬間をすくい取るように制作を行っています。
硬さの中にやわらかさを、冷たさの中にぬくもりを見つけることで、
人の感覚の愛おしさをそっと映しています。
表面に刻まれるひびや欠け、光の反射、時間の痕跡が、
人の手と素材のあいだに生まれる調和のリズムを生み出しています。
また、色がゆっくりと褪せていく過程に時間の美しさを見出し、
ありふれた軽やかな素材に新たな存在感を与えながら、
自然や日常に潜む“変化”そのものを観察し、かたちへと昇華しています。
Pull Push Products. の活動は、
異なる素材や工程を横断しながら、“手で確かめ、素材が変化し、かたちが生まれる瞬間”に潜む秩序や美を探る試みです。
それは、建築やデザインの枠を越え、クラフトという身体的行為を通して、
素材・構造・時間と人との関係を静かに問い直す、
詩的で実験的な創作の実践といえます。
Pull Push Products. explores the relationship between material, structure, and the passing of time, creating quiet works that invite new ways of seeing and sensing the everyday. Working with the same material from multiple perspectives, the practice seeks the warmth and memory hidden within hardness. Within a small architectural scale, and guided by the sense of the hand, it composes silent traces of urban landscapes and human presence through lines, planes, and shadows. Incense pots that release smoke like tiny buildings, and planters whose surfaces slowly change through wind and rain, capture moments when material begins to speak with the flow of time. Finding softness within hardness and warmth within coldness, each work reflects the quiet tenderness of human perception. Cracks, reflections, and traces of time form subtle rhythms of harmony between the hand and the material itself. The process also embraces transformation—discovering beauty in the slow fading of color, and giving new presence to familiar, lightweight materials—observing and translating the quiet changes of nature and daily life into form. Across diverse materials and processes, Pull Push Products. explores the sense of order and beauty found in the moment when material shifts and form begins to emerge. Beyond the boundaries of architecture and design, and through the bodily act of craft, it gently reconsiders the relationships among material, structure, time, and human experience—a poetic and experimental practice of making.
